update-ish

i'm aware i haven't posted in a while. i just haven't had any good words. and anything even remotely fun or funny that's happened has seemed not really worth actually posting about in comparison with what's really been going on. if i'd written anything in the four weeks it would have been about our dear dear friends Shawn & Kalle and their sons Cohen and Pearce. but no words seem sufficient during a time of mourning Cohen's passing and rejoicing Pearce's birth. certainly not any words that i have. the two most opposite feelings. you can read their story here. thankfully, Pearce is home from the NICU now! we are all thanking Jesus for that. yesterday when i talked to kal they had been out to breakfast and on a walk--in perfect stinson style. i imagine that when i have a baby i will be doing well to make it out of the house in the first, say, year-ish... :) anyway, not much to report beyond that. tanner and i are well and really loving being married. next weekend tanner is doing a triathalon and then i am going to seattle to meet my new little nephew and see shawn & kal and i am PUMPED. i'm going to smooch his face off.
