1. my new sunglasses! call me shallow, i dont care. they are so cool and awesome. and they represent compromise in our marriage, because i love aviators and tanner hates them. so, not wanting to wear sunglasses that tanner hates, we met in the middle and i bought a sweet action pair of aviator-esque glasses without rims (the lack of rims is the compromise part). this isn't really what they look like, but you get the idea right?
2. this guy. i mean COME ON! not only is he adorable but clearly hilarious, as evidenced below. our little nephew lincoln. definitely makes the list of five things i love.
3. this fall-ish weather. and we're going to asheville this weekend so i'm hoping for more of the same. i always love the changing of seasons. it's like something new and exciting! bring on sweatshirts and PASHMINAS! we all know how much i love a good pashmina.4. microplush. maybe this is due to the dropping temperatures mentioned in #3. what is it about this fabric that is so warm yet light and airy? i do not know, but i love it. we have a gigantic chocolate brown microplush blanket that i'd like to be wrapped up in for the rest of my LIFE.
5. my coworkers. i think the people i work with redefine team work. it's one thing to help someone at an office job by making phone calls for them, etc. but when you ask someone "hey, will you help me lift this gigantic person up in bed, and just to warn you he's probably going to try to kick you" or "hey i need help cleaning up 18's bowel EXPLOSION for the fifth time tonight" and they say "sure i'll meet you in there"... that's pretty good. and it also helps that they are really funny :) here are some of them:

lincoln is very cute..that picture is hilarious...and i really second number 3. just as long as you don't wear the sweatshirt and the pashmina at the same time. then i might have to submit you to 'what not wear'.
