cooking & SIRK!

i am really loving cooking these days (these days=tuesday & wednesday). tuesday night i picked a recipe out of the rachel ray cook book that the mcphails gave us. i went to harris teeter & gathered all the ingredients & cooked it up. it was pork chops with some kind of onion sauce with like 25 ingredients. tanner was so happy (and probably surprised) that he got up from the table to take a picture & document this historic occasion. we also had some veggies & tomato/mozzerella/basil things. last night we had eggs that tanner cooked & whole grain waffles in our new sweetaction waffle maker (courtesy of cameron) & bacon on the bacon tray daisy got us :) we have no photo to document that. in other news, today is sirk's birthday!! happy birthday sirk. we love you & hope you have a great great day!
here are a few honeymoon pics

Staci - I need your help. I hope that as you go through that cookbook, you prounounce Basil - baz-uhl and not bey-zuhl. My life has been extremely complicted by this little herb. Hopefully by my grassroots effort, we can get everyone on board. . . Congrats to you guys!
