Feliz Cumpleanos Tocino

Today is not Tanner’s birthday, but tomorrow IS! I’m giving you a heads up so you can go out and buy him a big expensive gift tonight (preferably one he can share with me ☺). I kid (unless you really want to). Let me tell you some things I love about Tanner. He pronounces the word “both” as “boLth” and has a really large eyebrow range of motion. And when he’s really serious about something, such as, “Staci, I just told you that five minutes ago and you weren’t listening” he clasps his hands one on top of the other, like he’s about to give himself the Heimlich maneuver and his eyebrows raise to their maximum height. I love it. He is smart and wise and opens doors for people and cares about his friends and knows a lot of random things. He can fix things like washing machines and brake lights and he can hang room-darkening shades for a girlfriend who sleeps all day and a really strong hanging-rack-thing for an oversized purse (mine, not his). And, just when you thought Tanner couldn’t get any better, he is also funny and loves Jesus and is an excellent leader. All of these good things in a tall and very handsome package. I am really getting the sweet end of this deal :) Happy birthday week, Tanner!
